Organ•ism
The problem:
An urban farm partnered with a perfumer to create a fragrance inspired by the farm itself, sold at the V&A Waterfront, with all profits reinvested into building more city farms. The client needed branding that would stand out on shelf, supported by a clear concept that explained the story behind the product.

The solution:
Every name you can think of had already been taken, which made the brief more interesting. After spending time on the farm, we developed Organism, a fragrance built on the idea that all living things are interconnected, supported by the tagline Live as one. To support the concept, we designed bold packaging inspired by the molecular structures of living things.

The results:
The product was sold through the V&A Waterfront and social media. The first production run consisted of 1,000 bottles and sold out over the December period. Tourists were drawn to the packaging and compelled by the story, proving the strength of the underlying insight – we are all one.
